The Expert Platform of the Canemure project will produce various tools and services for the use of municipalities, the state administration, and citizens, as well as distribute information on various themes in order to mitigate climate change.
Topics will include regional climate roadmap work, climate-friendly public acquisitions, sustainable mobility solutions, climate solutions for consumers, and various funding channels, among others. Good practices for the mitigation of climate change are identified and spread around Finland using the Climate Leap service, for example. In addition, research information is produced on the obstacles for implementing the best practices.
Information for supporting decision-making processes and monitoring results will be achieved through municipality-specific emissions calculations, comparisons between cities, calculators, life cycle based tools, and scenario models.
Information on tools for the mitigation of climate change will be updated onto this site throughout the duration of the Canemure project.
